Karen’s Italian Adventures: 1,600 Miles to Support Be Good Foundation
September 2026
Meet Karen t’Kint, a passionate cyclist, world traveler, and longtime friend of Rebecca Rusch.
Karen invites you to support her next grand cycling adventure by supporting Be Good™ Foundation. On September 12th, she and small, international cohort of bike nuts will pedal past the coliseum and out of Rome, kicking off a 6 week, 1600-mile ride that will take them north through the Tuscan hills. From there they’ll jump on a ferry and begin island hopping, first bouncing across the French island of Corsica and then gobbling up the climbiest-climbs of Sardinia and Sicily. From Messina they’ll cross back to mainland Italy and head north, passing Pompeii and Amalfi before eddying back into Rome in late October.
All of this wouldn’t be possible without good fortune, [relatively] good health and good luck in life, so Karen has selected Be Good Foundation to help sow opportunity for young women (future lifelong bike nuts) who are getting serious about cycling but daunted by the high entry costs. All funds raised directly support the work of Be Good, including a fellowship program, mentorship program, and grant programs. Your involvement enables Be Good to build stronger, healthier communities and foster a love for cycling that changes lives.
Be Good, which has a Gold rating for financial transparency, was founded by Rebecca Rusch, aka The Queen of Pain, an astoundingly gifted endurance athlete who has given back to her vast community throughout her career.
Karen is grateful for her long friendship with Rebecca and knows every dollar contributed will be productively allocated. No amount is too small. Thank you for considering a donation.
"No amount is too big or too small for this scrappy and effective organization. I’m excited to have whatever funds I raise funneled towards mentorships of young riders and support for veterans and disadvantaged riders, each and all pedaling towards their own goals." - Karen t'Kint
