BLOOD ROAD

Blood Road follows the journey of Rebecca Rusch and her Vietnamese riding partner, Huyen Nguyen, as they pedal 1,200 miles along the infamous Ho Chi Minh Trail through the dense jungles of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Their goal: to reach the crash site and final resting place of Rebecca's father, a U.S. Air Force pilot shot down over Laos some 40 years earlier.

This deeply personal quest to find her father, coupled with his guiding words, "be good," ultimately became the genesis for Rebecca's global mission and a call to action for all who desire to live with purpose, explore with passion, and create lasting change.

"My dad signed all of his letters home with the same two words: 'Be Good.' After riding the Ho Chi Minh Trail and standing in the place where he died, I heard his instructions more distinctly. He inspired me to try harder, push farther, and above all remind myself and others that we all have unique talents that can be harnessed for the greater good. The Be Good Foundation is my way of keeping his memory alive by following his instructions and using my bicycle and my reach to help the world heal, connect and evolve one pedal stroke at a time.”

- Rebecca Rusch, President/Founder

Bring your community together for an inspiring film event that raises funds and awareness for your cause, while sharing the powerful story of healing, adventure, and impact at the heart of Blood Road.

What's included when you host a screening

  • Film licensing and administration: We handle all licensing, permissions, and administrative details, leaving no hassle for your team.

  • Custom fundraising landing page: We'll create a branded online donation/landing page if you do not have a way to collect funds online (this is optional; if you have or can create a page, that's great, too).

  • Marketing and promotion: Your screening will featured on Be Good's website, in our newsletters, and on our social media accounts, and we'll also share it with our donors in your area. We'll also give you a customizable marketing toolkit with poster images, social graphics, movie trailer, and description.

  • Event swag and materials: We'll ship you Be Good stickers, information cards, and event swag, and we'll send you digital assets for event screens and prints.

  • Ongoing support: We're happy to provide guidance for event planning, fundraising, and audience engagement.

  • Virtual appearance by Rebecca Rusch: Rebecca will video call in to your screening for an introduction to the film,  Q&A afterward, or record a greeting for your event (subject to schedule availability).
